Hey Andy, is believing by faith a reliable way to KNOW anything?
Hi, yeah, I think so, for by believing by faith, you’re also expecting an outcome from what you believe. When He does, then you’ve gained confidence in knowing that God not only exists, but that He intervenes with our lives and follows through on what He says He’ll do.
They Believe Through Faith That He Exists
If you’re believing that God exists through faith, then you’re also believing that God communicates, listens, and will act on your behalf or in your life. For no one believes God exists by faith and doesn’t believe He’s just there, you know? They believe through faith that He exists, but also believe that He will reveal Himself to them somehow, you know? For example, even though I can’t see oxygen, if I’m underwater, I know by faith that if I swim to the surface and breathe in, that I’ll breathe in oxygen. So you see, by faith, we expect an outcome from what we believe in.
